Chelsea Ladies handed Wolfsburg Champions League tie

Chelsea Ladies have been drawn to play German side Wolfsburg in the Women's Champions League Round of 32.

Emma Hayes's side were beaten by the Germans in last season's competition and have been handed the opportunity to secure a positive result this time around.

Chelsea’s second leg in the tie will be away from home. The games are to be played on 5/6 and 12/13 October with the final in Cardiff in June the aim for all.

This evening, Chelsea Ladies are in home action in the Women’s Super League against Notts County Ladies at Wheatsheaf Park. Kick-off is at 7.30. Tickets are £5/£3 and can be purchased online.

Then on Wednesday 7 September at Stamford Bridge, Emma Hayes will be joined by her captain Katie Chapman plus Fran Kirby, Eni Aluko and Claire Rafferty for ‘An Audience With…’
