This fantastic new opportunity will initially cater for 15 young females and will also provide further education in the form of A Levels / AVCE qualifications (or equivalent) in conjunction with the Thurstable Sports College Tiptree who recently achieved specialist sports college status. The academy for girls aged 16-19 years old will provide a daily structured football coaching programme and competitive matches which will take place on Wednesday afternoons as well as an educational/football pathway, Football Association coaching qualifications and sports leadership/officiating and injury treatment courses. The academy will allow talented youngsters to achieve their full potential in both education and football whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle.
