Bedford proved too strong the young Barking side. Barking trying their best to keep goals at bay were 4 goals down, when just before half time Barking hit back with a short ball from Stacy Savage to Nicola Moore who had a clear run on goal and chipped the ball over the Bedford keepers head to make the score 4-1 at half time. Barking came out fighting at the start of the second half and for 20 minutes had control of the match, several shots at goal failed to increase their score. Bedford hit back after 20 minutes increasing their score to six. A controversial penalty made their score seven five minutes before the final whistle.

Barking keeper Hicks had a brilliant game and was named player of the match.

U13's: Barking Ladies v Northwood

Barking started of brightly with Sweeny, Piggott, Drane, Leggett all going close. After 25 minutes while down to 10 players, a long kick from Northwood goalkeeper caught our defense napping and Daisy went on to score for Northwood. Within 3 minutes, the score was level. Sweeny lobbed a ball into the Northwood area and a brave header while clashing with the keeper. Sam Leggett equalised. Then, with minutes to half time, a corner from Piggott found Leanne Russell unmarked to score. 2nd half and the Barking defense were kept busy in the opening minutes, but held out strong. With 10 minutes to go a, corner from Northwood was cleared by the Barking defense which Hayley Piggott collected, ran 30 yards, then unleashed from 15 yards into the net giving their keeper no chance.
