NewsThe FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup group stage draw was made on Tuesday 9 August.
The full draw is as follows: Northern SectionGROUP A• Aston Villa• Sheffield United • Everton • Durham • Manchester United GROUP B• Leicester City• Sunderland • Liverpool • Blackburn Rovers Southern SectionGROUP C• Brighton & Hove Albion• Birmingham City • West Ham United • London City Lionesses GROUP D• Bristol City• Charlton Athletic • Lewes • Crystal Palace GROUP E• Southampton• Reading • Tottenham Hotspur • Coventry United The three clubs who have qualified for the 2022-23 UEFA Women’s Champions League – Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City - will be exempt from the group stage, and will enter at the quarter-final. The Euro 2022-winning full-back has joined on a three-year contract for Aston Villa. The versatile Lioness played left-back in Sarina Wiegman’s Euro 2022-winning side but can also play higher up the pitch, with Villa manager Carla Ward intending to use her talents up front.
USA remain at the top. Germany and England have moved up with England now ranked 4th.
