Sweden (Asllani) took the lead after less than 2 minutes, and a sloppy start for England.

A 2nd goal by Sweden! Lionesses need to demonstrate their magic seen in the previous tournament.

Throughout much of the second half, and after resigning ourselves to a probable loss, Chloe Kelly revived our hopes. Still 2-1 to Sweden though. Come on England!

OMG is this possible Agyemang scores very quickly after and it's 2-2.

So many received treatment in this battle. Including some self-administered.

Fear and excitement grew to fever-pitch as it went to penalties. To-and-fro until the unusual number of penalties ran out. Hannah Hampton made crucial saves. Eventually England triumphed when Lucy Bronze smashed her penalty into the roof of the net, and the stadium erupted. What a rollercoaster ride.
