Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales' mother is in hospital following a three day hunger strike, according to Spanish news outlets.
Angeles Bejar announced she was going on hunger strike on Monday, in the midst of a row over her son kissing Spanish football player Jenni Hermoso after their World Cup final win on August 20.
Ms Bejar said her protest was over the “inhuman” treatment of her son and she then locked herself in a church in Motril.
