The club have been informed by The FA that Blackburn Rovers Women will operate in The FA Women’s National League Division 1 North (Tier 4) in the 2025-26 season.

The news follows the club’s decision to withdraw from the Barclays Women’s Championship at the end of the 2024-25 season due to the significant rise in minimum criteria set by the WSL on Tier 2 clubs.

Internal discussions with relevant club staff will now take place regarding the structure of the Women’s team going forward.
