West London College is offering free evening classes for women who would like to get job ready for construction jobs from administration, quantity surveying, site management right through to trades like brickwork, electrical installation carpentry and plumbing.
The course will be delivered:
- Over 4 weeks in two evenings = you should be available to attend 8 sessions in total
- starting on Monday the 9th June 2025
- every Monday and Wednesday from 5.30pm until 7.30pm
- at Southall College, Beaconsfield Road UB1 1DP
You will learn:
- what types of jobs are available in Construction
- how the industry recruits
- how to write a winning CV tailored to Construction
- vital interview and presentation skills as well as problem solving, mindset and teamworking skills leading to an employability award qualification.
- You will be introduced to construction employers.
To be eligible you need to be either unemployed or in low paid employment; and not enrolled already as a student somewhere.
