- Get the staff and team to share everything you publish. They should be happy to promote the club
- Always send out a match preview ensuring it has date, time, venue and ticket price
- Tag all your tweets with #YOUR_TOWN_NAME, e.g. #Huddersfield. People will be following this tag and are likely to follow you
- Every time you publish something, try to put someone's photo or a video in it. This makes the reader more likely to engage with the article
- Try to publish something daily. The channel platform (e.g. Twitter) likes this.
- Go further afield than your home town. Nearby town's women's teams may not be as high up the league tiers and people may be prepared to travel to see higher quality women's football.
- Offer a coaching session to local schools. Give a free match day passes to kids and their parents.
- Ask businesses to put up posters advertising the team and/or matches.
- Submit match reports to local media. Newspapers, radio, etc.
